Update on shopping for OOITO clothing online: the number of pieces carried by Planet Sports has increased to 5 t-shirts, 7 jackets and 2 courier bags. (There's a pull-down menu on the right with language options.)

Up & away...

It's been hectic - nearly 3 weeks since the last post. We've been on the move - in Amsterdam for a few days last week, then with OOITO to Barcelona for the Bread & Butter Tradeshow for Selected Brands this week, and off to Frankfurt's Bright Skateboarding Tradeshow this weekend. Pictures to come.

Exhibition news & views

Due to the seasonal crunch, the OOITO/Rezidents exhibit will run until December 24. The show of personal work which was scheduled for this week has been postponed.

OOITO x th’ Rezidents

Monday is the start of a two-part exhibition I'll be doing with Huschang Pourian. Part one is a joint show for OOITO and th’ Rezidents, on till December 17.


Part two will begin the following Monday (December 18) with more details to come later.

The venue is Café Pause, where I participated in Canadian Style earlier this year, curated by Jean Snow.

We'll be there on Friday from 7 to 10pm. Please drop by if you're in town!

Unplugged

I've been kind of off-line for the last few weeks: home for a wedding, laying down foundation for things to come, and doing a bit of gospel for ooito.

Collecting th’ rezidents/OOITO trading cards

Thought I should add a bit more info about collecting th’ rezidents trading cards from ooito.jp.

As with the trading cards you get with bubble gum, you don’t know what you’ll get until you open the package. The characters arrive in random pairs.

Scroll over the characters in the top left corner of the screen.
Click on the speech bubbles to download the PDFs.
Reload the page to collect them all.

th’ rezidents are the residents of our alter-egos – a little glimpse of our secret and not-so-secret selves. Which one are you?

The first series of 13 were designed for the launch of a new streetwear brand, OOITO "functional urbanwear© from Japan." Featured on trading cards, stickers, hangtags, shopping bags and t-shirts.
